The house is sweetly quiet with my little charge sleeping. The washing machine is going, and I've got a ball of yarn next to me on the couch. It's hot outside but I'm already thinking about the holidays. Money is uber-tight this year, so most of my gifts will be hand made. Good thing I've picked up crocheting and sewing again.
So far on the list are purses (from my favorite Lazy Girls patterns, Towne and City Bag), a scarf for one sister...... Ok, really that's all I've come up with. And on those purses, I can not find fabric I like for two of those sisters. I have the inside fabric for one, but no clue what to do for the outside, or other complete purse.
Selling Tupperware helps, I just have to get more diligent and persistant with it. We'll get there. It's always nice, I just normally don't worry about it this early. Maybe I'll get it all done early, and be able to relax during the season.
So here's the plan:
1. work on scarf daily (one sister down... she already has a purse I made her)
2. find fabric for sister's purses (neices, too-they'll love "Sassy")
3. find ideas for Mom and Dad (Mom DOES need a better wallet)
4. Convince my darling husband that he doesn't really need the dining table..... that's where my littel Janome Gold sits....Probably until New Years Day
